Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Porter to join our dynamic facilities maintenance team. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of common areas, offices, restrooms, and hallways using appropriate janitorial techniques and equipment Maintain floors through buffing, sweeping, mopping, and other floor care procedures to ensure a spotless appearance Conduct routine custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and surface sanitation Assist with light maintenance duties including minor repairs and touch-up painting in residential or commercial spaces Support industrial cleaning projects by operating specialized equipment and following safety protocols Ensure all facilities are organized, safe, and compliant with health standards by conducting regular inspections Support overall facilities maintenance by assisting with furniture moving, stocking supplies, and coordinating with vendors as needed Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is highly preferred Hands-on experience with floor care techniques including buffing and stripping is advantageous Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, tools, and safety procedures is essential Experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning will be considered a strong plus Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment effectively Familiarity with basic painting or light repair work is beneficial but not mandatory Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and facility upkeep.
