Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning duties across various areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies. Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces. Handle custodial tasks including trash removal, dusting, window washing, and restocking supplies to ensure a tidy environment. Maintain facilities by performing light maintenance tasks like changing light bulbs or reporting repair needs promptly. Use industrial cleaning tools for specialized cleaning projects or deep cleans in high-traffic or heavily soiled areas. Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a hazard-free workspace for yourself and others. Assist with basic facilities maintenance or porter duties as needed to support overall building operations. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning standards. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors. Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is preferred. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery safely. Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs or painting is a plus. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure thorough cleanliness.
