Overview Join our dynamic team as a Body Shop Porter, where your energetic attitude and attention to detail will keep our auto repair environment running smoothly! In this vital role, you'll be the backbone of our body shop operations, ensuring vehicles are clean, organized, and ready for the next step in repair or detailing. Your enthusiasm for customer service and vehicle care will help create a positive experience for every customer and contribute to the overall efficiency of our shop. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in vehicle maintenance, cleaning, and customer interaction while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Responsibilities Assist with vehicle movement within the shop, including parking, staging, and delivering vehicles to designated areas Perform car washes, detailing, buffing, and cleaning tasks to prepare vehicles for customer pickup or further repair work Maintain cleanliness of the shop environment by performing janitorial duties and custodial tasks Support technicians by organizing tools and supplies to ensure efficient workflow Conduct window tinting or other minor cosmetic services as needed (training provided if necessary) Drive company vehicles safely to transport cars between locations or to external vendors when required Ensure all work areas are tidy, organized, and compliant with safety standards at all times Skills Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Experience with car wash procedures, detailing, buffing, and cleaning techniques Ability to operate a variety of custodial equipment and perform janitorial tasks efficiently Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for safe vehicle operation Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes is a plus Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail during vehicle preparation and shop cleanliness Familiarity with window tinting or willingness to learn new skills related to vehicle cosmetic enhancements This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in the automotive industry while providing top-notch service.
