Blue Broom Commercial Cleaning is looking for a reliable part-time cleaner to join our church cleaning team in Paradise, Texas . We currently have a strong team of 3 at this location, and we are looking to add one more dependable team member who can work a consistent weekly Sunday shift and also help with extra coverage when needed. This is a great fit for someone who wants consistent part-time income, a respectful work environment, and opportunities to pick up extra hours over time.
Pay and Schedule Starting pay:
$18 per hour Guaranteed weekly shift: Sunday from 2:00 PM to around 8:00 PM Additional coverage opportunities may be available on: Tuesday from 5:00 PM to around 10:00 PM Thursday from 3:30 PM to around 8:00 PM Saturday from 8:00 AM to around 3:00 PM or later , depending on the building needs Sunday from 2:00 PM to around 8:00 PM You will not be scheduled for all of these shifts every week. Sunday is the guaranteed weekly shift. The other shifts are extra coverage opportunities that may be offered when another team member is unavailable, when there are schedule changes, church events, vacations, or when additional help is needed. We are creating this position because there is a consistent need for a trained fourth team member who knows the building and can support the team when coverage is needed. Most months, there are usually opportunities for extra coverage hours. Some weeks may only include the Sunday shift, while other weeks may offer additional shifts. For example, when multiple coverage shifts are available in the same week, it can add up to around 20-26 hours for that week . Training and Growth Opportunity You will go through paid training to learn the: Building layout Cleaning routine Checklists Cleaning standards Team expectations During training, you will work alongside experienced team members who will help you understand the process so you feel comfortable stepping into shifts independently. Reliable team members who communicate well, show up consistently, and do quality work are often considered first when additional hours, future accounts, raises, or leadership opportunities become available. What You'll Be Doing Cleaning classrooms, offices, restrooms, common areas, and church spaces Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and taking out trash Following a checklist and completing assigned areas Helping keep the building clean, organized, sanitized, and presentable Working independently while also being respectful of the team and the church environment What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Reliable and consistent Able to show up every Sunday for the guaranteed shift Able to help with extra coverage shifts when available Responsive to messages in a timely manner Able to work independently without constant supervision Detail-oriented Physically able to be on their feet cleaning for several hours Positive, respectful, and team-minded Proud of doing the job right Able to drive to Paradise, Texas with reliable transportation Why Join Blue Broom Commercial Cleaning?
