Full job description Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Custodian to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. As a Custodian, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all areas are kept in pristine condition, promoting health and safety standards, and creating an inviting atmosphere for staff, visitors, and members alike. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by sanitizing fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met. Conduct commercial cleaning duties such as polishing surfaces, cleaning windows, and disinfecting high-touch areas to prevent the spread of germs. Use janitorial equipment and cleaning chemicals safely and effectively while adhering to safety protocols. Cleaning of sanctuary, gym, kitchen, entries, offices, classrooms, furniture, windows, floors, restrooms, etc. Follow established custodial procedures to ensure consistent quality of cleanliness throughout the facility. Support special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed to uphold facility standards. Prior custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Demonstrated ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.
