Janitor/Cleaner

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team and help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of living spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment. Execute specialized floor care tasks such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining surface finishes to ensure a polished appearance. Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items with care. Maintain high standards of sanitation by disinfecting surfaces, sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens, and managing waste disposal efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents' or guests' requests promptly and professionally. Manage custodial responsibilities such as restocking supplies, organizing storage areas, and ensuring all cleaning tools are properly maintained. Assist with housekeeping management tasks when needed, including scheduling cleaning routines and coordinating team efforts for larger projects. Experience Previous custodial or janitorial experience in residential or commercial settings is highly preferred. Experience with hotel housekeeping or hospitality environments is a strong plus. Skilled in various cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, upholstery care, and floor maintenance. Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols to ensure a healthy environment. Familiarity with laundry procedures and equipment operation. Experience in housekeeper management or supervising cleaning staff is advantageous but not required.
