Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies. Conduct floor care procedures such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a polished appearance. Handle janitorial duties including trash removal, vacuuming and cleaning of restrooms Assist with custodial tasks related to industrial or large-scale cleaning projects as needed. Maintain cleanliness standards by regularly inspecting work areas and addressing any issues promptly. Support facilities maintenance activities by reporting repairs or safety hazards to management. Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a safe working environment. Skills Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of custodial procedures. Skilled in floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning. Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and facilities maintenance practices. Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
