In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure all areas are hygienic, organized, and well-maintained. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute significantly to the overall cleanliness and safety of our workplace, creating a positive experience for employees, visitors, and clients alike. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces across all designated areas. Maintain floors through buffing, polishing, and proper care techniques to ensure a pristine appearance. Handle industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, and high-traffic zones using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment. Conduct custodial maintenance including window washing, carpet cleaning, and minor repairs as needed. Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or hazards. Restock supplies like paper towels, soap dispensers, and trash liners to ensure continuous availability. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as light repairs or painting to support overall building upkeep. Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings is preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing is highly desirable. Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is advantageous. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices and basic repair skills will be beneficial.
