Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of all areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces, ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness. Conduct routine floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a polished appearance. Handle custodial duties for both commercial and residential settings, adapting cleaning methods as needed for different environments. Assist with industrial cleaning projects that require specialized equipment or techniques to manage heavy-duty messes. Support facilities maintenance activities by reporting repairs needed for lighting, plumbing, or structural issues promptly. Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and ensure proper storage and usage of chemicals and equipment. Contribute to a safe work environment by following safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance tasks. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or custodial work with a strong understanding of commercial and residential cleaning standards. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing surfaces. Familiarity with industrial cleaning procedures and facilities maintenance practices. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and pressure washers safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting maintenance issues clearly. Flexibility to adapt to various cleaning environments and perform physical tasks that may require standing, bending, or lifting.
