Responsibilities Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to uphold high cleanliness standards. Conduct detailed floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces. Handle commercial cleaning tasks in office buildings, retail spaces, or industrial facilities with efficiency and care. Support facilities maintenance by reporting repairs needed for fixtures, lighting, or equipment to ensure safety and functionality. Assist with custodial responsibilities in residential or industrial settings as required, including specialized cleaning procedures. Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and ensure proper storage and usage of equipment. Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning and maintenance activities to promote a secure environment. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures and safety standards. Skilled in various cleaning techniques including floor care such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing. Experience with commercial cleaning environments; familiarity with industrial cleaning is a plus. Knowledge of facilities maintenance tasks and basic repair reporting processes. Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers or floor scrubbers confidently. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
