Requirements MUST have cleaning supplies! MUST have reliable transportation! Responsibilities Perform comprehensive residential and commercial cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to meet established standards. Handle specialized cleaning duties such as carpet cleaning, floor care, upholstery maintenance, and window washing. Manage laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing as needed. Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas by ensuring proper sanitation and replenishing supplies. Deliver excellent customer service by addressing client requests promptly and professionally while maintaining a friendly attitude. Follow safety protocols related to janitorial tasks, chemical handling, and equipment operation to ensure a safe working environment. Assist with housekeeping management duties when required, including inventory management of cleaning supplies and reporting maintenance issues. Skills Proven experience in custodial work or janitorial services within residential or commercial settings. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, sanitation practices, and laundry procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending or kneeling frequently. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping standards or custodial experience in hospitality environments is a plus. Competence in operating cleaning equipment like vacuums, floor polishers, steam cleaners, and other janitorial tools. Attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards consistently across all areas.
