Job Description
Job Summary At Airway Cleaners LLC, we prioritize safety, teamwork, and a positive workplace culture. We are proud to serve the aviation industry with excellence and integrity. Responsibilities Clean and disinfect aircraft interiors including seats, tray tables, lavatories, windows, and overhead bins Ensure galleys are cleaned and stocked to airline standards Vacuum and mop floors and clean all surfaces with approved products Collaborate with team members and airport personnel to meet flight cleaning schedules Maintain high safety and customer service standards Stay on task in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment Perform additional cleaning or support duties as assigned by leadership Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Authorized to work in the U.S. Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Comfortable using tablets, iPads, and mobile devices Must pass background check and drug test Eligible for airport security clearances (TSA, FAA, Port Authority, etc.) Willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including overnights, weekends, and holidays Physical Requirements Lift up to 25 lbs frequently Stand and walk for long periods Bend, stretch, squat, kneel, crawl, and reach as needed Work in confined spaces and around aircraft equipment Exposure to biohazards, chemicals, and moderate to high noise Repetitive motions required using hands, arms, and wrists Strong vision (near, far, peripheral, depth, and ability to focus) Experience Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred, especially in fast-paced environments like airports or transportation hubs. Experience with car wash, detailing, buffing, or window tinting is a plus. Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with crew members and passengers when needed. Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers or vacuums safely and effectively. Valid driving license preferred for moving equipment or assisting with ground operations when required. Demonstrated reliability with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in busy settings.
