In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure that all areas meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Your proactive approach and dedication will contribute to a positive experience for staff, visitors, and clients alike. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in commercial and industrial cleaning while supporting the overall maintenance of our facilities. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies. Conduct detailed floor care including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance. Handle custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and sanitizing surfaces to promote a healthy environment. Operate industrial cleaning equipment safely and efficiently for large-scale cleaning projects. Support porter duties by moving furniture or equipment as needed and ensuring pathways are clear. Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health standards. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within commercial or industrial environments. Ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality. Familiarity with facilities maintenance procedures such as minor repairs or painting is a plus. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting. Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
