Full Job Description Overview:
PLEASE READ!
!!! We are seeking a dedicated Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities. This will include working at times as part of our kitchen team along with outside gasoline and diesel areas. Applicant must be flexible to a schedule with the ability to work on a Saturday or Sunday one time per month. The position is part time with up to 25 hours. Scheduled shifts typically are 7am-3pm or 3pm to 10pm. If you can't meet these obligations, applicants will be NOT considered.Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks to ensure spaces are well-maintained
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies along with shower cleaning
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper waste disposal
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment
- Assist with setting up rooms for meetings or events
- Notify management of any repairs needed
- Attend to gasoline and diesel areas Perform general cleaning tasks to ensure spaces are well-maintained Follow safety procedures while handling cleaning chemicals
Experience:
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
