Job Description

Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for a dedicated Respiratory Care Equipment Technician to join the team. This role will be Part-Time 2 days a week 7:00AM to 5:30PM with weekends and holidays Inova is consistently ranked a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience. Performs equipment/supply stocking and appropriately places orders for replacement supplies. Demonstrates knowledge of the locations of all stock/supply items and maintains adequate par levels. Disassembles, cleans, and assembles respiratory therapy equipment under department and infection control policies and procedures. Demonstrates an understanding of infection control standards and the knowledge of general cleaning principles according to hospital policy. Demonstrates proper safety precautions while working with cleaning agents according to department policies and procedures. Consistently and accurately performs operation performance verification testing on respiratory therapy equipment according to department standards. Takes ownership of the setup and transportation of portable medical gas tanks according to hospital standards. May perform additional duties as assigned. Additional Requirements Education - High School or GED
