Position Title:

1 Half-Time Custodian for Summer School Program (3 hours per day) One Position at

James Monroe High School Job Description:

Clean cafeteria, restrooms, and classrooms used for Summer Program. Keep buildings and grounds clean and free of refuse Make minor repairs. Submit a written daily log of problem areas within the building or on the grounds that are of a maintenance nature. This log includes problems with equipment, cleaning, sanitation, maintaining an odor free environment, and/or pest infestation Maintain positive work habits Perform duties efficiently and productively Maintain and/or upgrade skills Perform any and all other job-related duties as assigned by the Program Coordinator.

Qualifications:

High school graduate or GED equivalent Must have passed state custodial test. Must be an employee of

Monroe County Schools Salary:

Daily Rate of Pay $128.70. Salary based on experience and education level per Monroe County BOE salary schedule plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation

Effective Date:

June 29, 2026, through July 31, 2026. There will be no summer school on July 3rd in recognition of July 4th holiday. Schedule based on program needs. If during the course of the program there is not a sufficient number of students, the program will be discontinued. Deadline for
