In Person Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to join our team. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors. The ideal candidate will have janitorial or custodial experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Candidates must be able to pass a background check as a condition of employment. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors, carpets, and surfaces. Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and maintain hygiene standards. Collect and dispose of trash and recycling materials according to company procedures. Perform floor care tasks, including buffing, polishing, and stripping floors. Assist with industrial cleaning projects and the cleaning of specialized equipment when required. Report maintenance issues and assist with minor facility upkeep as needed. Safely operate commercial cleaning equipment and tools. Monitor and maintain cleaning supply inventory. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. Qualifications Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing, stripping, and polishing. Familiarity with industrial cleaning procedures and facility maintenance practices. Ability to safely operate commercial cleaning equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Good organizational and time-management skills.
