Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Janitorial Supervisor and lead the charge in maintaining pristine, safe, and welcoming environments across our facilities. This energetic role offers the opportunity to oversee cleaning operations, manage custodial staff, and ensure high standards of cleanliness in a variety of settings, including commercial spaces, hospitality venues, and healthcare environments. As a key leader in our operations, you will motivate your team, streamline cleaning processes, and uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily janitorial activities to ensure all areas are maintained to company standards Lead and motivate custodial staff through effective training, scheduling, and performance management Oversee cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and specialized cleaning such as carpet or window washing Manage laundry services when applicable, ensuring timely and efficient handling of linens and uniforms Conduct regular inspections to verify cleanliness, safety compliance, and proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment Develop and implement cleaning schedules that optimize efficiency while minimizing disruption to operations Maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment; place orders as needed to ensure uninterrupted service Experience Proven supervising experience in janitorial or custodial roles within commercial, hospitality, or healthcare settings Extensive janitorial experience with knowledge of various cleaning techniques and equipment operation Management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high standards of cleanliness Familiarity with laundry processes relevant to hospitality or healthcare environments is a plus Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to motivate staff and coordinate tasks efficiently Experience in hotel housekeeping management or hospitality industry is desirable Knowledge of safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use Embark on a rewarding journey where your leadership transforms workspaces into spotless sanctuaries!
