In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safety, efficiency, and cleanliness of commercial kitchen ventilation systems. Your expertise will help prevent fire hazards, improve air quality, and maintain compliance with safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with state-of-the-art equipment while making a tangible difference in foodservice environments. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of kitchen exhaust systems to identify grease buildup and potential fire hazards Perform cleaning and maintenance of exhaust hoods, ducts, fans, filters, and related components using specialized tools and techniques Follow established safety protocols and industry standards during all cleaning procedures Document all work performed accurately in service reports and maintenance logs Collaborate with team members to complete scheduled cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively Assist in troubleshooting system issues and recommend improvements for optimal performance Ensure all work areas are left clean, safe, and compliant with local fire codes and regulations Skills Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment safely and effectively Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality standards Good physical stamina to perform manual labor including climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and lifting heavy equipment Prior industry experience welcome but not required Embark on a career where your skills help create safer kitchens while advancing your expertise in a growing industry!
