Job description Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part Time Nightly Cleaner to join our dynamic facilities team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment during overnight hours. As a Nightly Cleaner, you will be responsible for performing thorough cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure our facility remains in top condition. Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning of all areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment. Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance. Handle industrial cleaning tasks, including the use of specialized equipment for deep cleaning and sanitation. Assist with custodial responsibilities related to facilities maintenance, ensuring all areas are safe, tidy, and well-maintained. Support minor repairs or maintenance tasks as needed to uphold the cleanliness and functionality of the facility. Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a secure working environment. Complete detailed logs of completed tasks and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within commercial or residential settings. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is preferred. Previous experience in facilities maintenance or porter roles is advantageous. Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
