This energetic role involves performing a variety of cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure our spaces meet high standards of hygiene and appearance. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for maintaining cleanliness, possess strong attention to detail, and demonstrate a commitment to safety and efficiency. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all areas of the facility Handle chemical agents safely for cleaning purposes, ensuring proper storage and disposal in accordance with safety protocols Operate floor buffers, polishers, and other custodial equipment to maintain floors in excellent condition Conduct industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas using appropriate techniques and tools Assist with facilities maintenance activities including light repairs, heavy lifting, and manual handling of supplies or equipment Follow safe lifting practices when moving furniture, supplies, or heavy items to prevent injury Support residential painting or minor maintenance projects as needed to enhance facility appearance and functionality Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings is highly desirable Familiarity with cleaning procedures involving chemical agents and proper handling techniques Experience operating floor care equipment such as buffers and polishers Knowledge of facilities maintenance tasks including basic repairs and light handyman work Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines Previous porter or facilities support experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Join us in delivering top-notch cleanliness and maintenance that keeps our environment safe, efficient, and inviting!
