Our team is dedicated to providing quality housing, exceptional customer service, and a supportive environment where residents can thrive. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Janitor to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, carpet extraction, and trash removal. Maintain cleanliness and appearance of common areas, including hallways, community rooms, offices, restrooms, and entryways. Clean and prepare resident apartments during unit turnovers to ensure move-in readiness. Monitor cleaning supply inventory and notify management when supplies need replentishment. Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or property damage to management promptly. Follow established safety procedures and infection-control practices. Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required. Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or custodial experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently. Ability to interact professionally and courteously with residents, visitors, and staff. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities including bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pulling, and standing for extended periods. Why Join Edinburgh Square?
