• Full-time Black Bear Talent is seeking a reliable Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and professional office environment.

The Custodian is responsible for the daily cleaning and upkeep of offices, restrooms, common areas, break rooms, and meeting spaces while ensuring the facility remains welcoming for employees and visitors.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM

• 5:00 PM Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clean and sanitize offices, conference rooms, break rooms, restrooms, and common areas.

Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors, furniture, and workspaces. Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners. Clean and disinfect restrooms, replenish soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Clean windows, glass doors, mirrors, and other interior glass surfaces. Maintain kitchen and break room areas, including wiping counters, cleaning appliances, and restocking supplies as needed. Dust furniture, fixtures, blinds, and office equipment. Monitor cleaning supply inventory and notify management when supplies need to be reordered. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged equipment promptly. Follow all company safety procedures and proper handling of cleaning chemicals. Lock or secure designated areas as required at the end of each shift. Perform seasonal or deep cleaning tasks as assigned. Assist with light facility setup or cleanup for meetings and company events when needed.

Requirements:

Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check with a clean record Prior commercial cleaning in a professional environment Ability to work independently and stay on task Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Basic knowledge of cleaning products and safe chemical handling. High school diploma or equivalent Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and reach. Lift and carry up to 40 pounds regularly. Push and pull cleaning carts and equipment.
