Job Description

The City of Waynesboro Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a full-time Parks Custodian.

Responsibilities:

Empty trash receptacles in all Waynesboro parks. Maintain appearance and cleanliness of park restrooms, including stocking with supplies. Perform basic maintenance repairs to include replacing light bulbs, removing graffiti, painting, etc. Assist snow removal as needed. Assist maintenance department as needed. Seasonal weekend work required.

Minimum Qualifications:

General custodial and basic facilities maintenance knowledge. Valid Driver's License. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to completion of the 10th grade. Must be dependable and able to maintain excellent working relationships with coworkers and the public.
