Responsibilities Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all office areas. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by sanitizing sinks, toilets, mirrors, and replenishing supplies as needed. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during cleaning procedures to ensure safety standards are met. Handle heavy cleaning equipment and supplies with proper manual handling techniques to prevent injury. Restock cleaning supplies and ensure all cleaning tools are maintained in good working condition. Follow health and safety protocols related to the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Conduct routine inspections to identify areas requiring additional attention or maintenance needs. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial or office setting. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and safety procedures. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including lifting heavy objects safely. Experience using commercial cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and steam cleaners. Familiarity with the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during cleaning tasks. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Reliable with a proactive approach to completing assigned duties efficiently.
