Dust and wipe down surfaces such as desks, countertops, windowsills, and fixtures to uphold a tidy environment. Handle trash removal by emptying bins and disposing of waste in designated areas efficiently. Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify cleaning needs or maintenance issues requiring attention. Use commercial cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers with proper safety procedures. Assist with custodial tasks related to industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance when needed to support overall operations. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings preferred. Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods. Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus. Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts. Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the day.
