Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Evening Custodian at Danville School. As an Evening Custodian, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students, faculty, and staff. This is a full-time position with health insurance, free dental, free life insurance, free college tuition, and paid time off.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Empty and sanitize trash receptacles
- Clean and disinfect restrooms and replenish supplies
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies
- Assist in setting up and cleaning after school events and activities
- Report maintenance issues or repairs needed promptly
- Collaborate with other custodial staff to ensure a clean and organized school environment
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Understanding of safety protocols related to custodial work
- Ability to pass a background check
