Located in a welcoming environment, we focus on resident-centered care delivered by a highly engaged and motivated team committed to enhancing the well-being of our residents. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong custodial skills, experience in environmental services, and a commitment to adhering to health and safety standards. As an integral part of our team, you will ensure that all areas of the facility meet rigorous sanitation and cleanliness requirements, contributing to the overall health and comfort of our residents and staff. For this position to be Full Time, it would also be a Universal Worker Position and would cross over into a Dietary Aide Position, Laundry Aide and Housekeeping. Call or Text Jeremy Trujillo, Director of Environmental Services at 360-551-3405 Text or call 206-8452-4765 or email Perform cleaning duties throughout the facility, including patient rooms, hallways, common areas, and restrooms, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards of sanitation. Utilize appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to disinfect surfaces in accordance with OSHA guidelines and infection control protocols. Follow established procedures for waste disposal, linen handling, and floor care to promote a safe environment. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock levels are low or supplies need replenishing. Adhere strictly to safety regulations related to chemical handling, equipment operation, and infection prevention practices. Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as assigned by supervisory staff. Support other environmental services functions as needed to ensure a clean, welcoming environment for residents and visitors. Previous janitorial or custodial experience in healthcare or hospital settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to workplace safety and chemical handling is essential. Experience with commercial cleaning techniques, including floor care and sanitation practices, is preferred. Familiarity with healthcare environments such as skilled nursing facilities or hospitals enhances effectiveness in this role. Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow detailed cleaning protocols are critical for success in this position.
