In this role, you will oversee daily janitorial operations, supervise cleaning staff, and ensure that all facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Your leadership will be vital in coordinating cleaning schedules, managing supplies, and upholding safety protocols across various settings such as commercial buildings, hospitality venues, or healthcare facilities. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily janitorial activities, including general cleaning, laundry services, and specialized custodial tasks. Lead and motivate cleaning staff by providing clear instructions, training, and ongoing support to ensure high-quality service delivery. Manage cleaning schedules to optimize efficiency while minimizing disruption to operations or guest experiences. Oversee inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and proper storage practices to ensure readiness at all times. Enforce safety standards and health regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all team members. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to verify cleanliness standards are met and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with management on staffing needs, performance evaluations, and implementing new cleaning procedures or protocols. Experience Proven supervising experience in janitorial services or custodial management within commercial, hospitality, or healthcare settings. Strong background in cleaning techniques including general sanitation, laundry processes, and specialized custodial tasks. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively. Previous experience in hotel housekeeping management or hospitality environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and facility maintenance. Familiarity with commercial cleaning tools, laundry systems, and custodial best practices is essential for success in this role.
