Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Porter to join our team at a large apartment community. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who takes pride in keeping spaces clean, organized, and welcoming for residents and guests. The Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the property's common areas, grounds, and shared amenities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following: Perform apartment turnover cleaning, including kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, cabinets, counters and fixtures, ensuring apartments are move-in ready Clean and maintain common areas including hallways, lobbies, stairwells, elevators, fitness centers, and community rooms Pick up trash and debris through the property grounds Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust common areas as needed Help maintain curb appeal and a clean, professional appearance of the community Support the maintenance team with basic tasks as assigned Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required for this position. High school diploma or equivalent Strong attention to detail and reliability Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures Ability to perform physical tasks including walking, lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
