SUBSTITUTE - FOOD SERVICE

Position Summary:

LThe Food Service Substitute performs under the supervision of the Kitchen Manager and Food Service Director has the responsibility to assist within the Kitchen according to the Head Cook and/ Kitchen Manager. The Food Service Substitute functions in accordance with established policies, rules and regulations and the performance standards of the district.

Expectations of Substitutes:

It is the expectation that when signing up to substitute, the substitute agrees to accept offered assignments. Being selective in the accepting of assignments may result in fewer job offers and/or removal from the substitute list.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED Food Handlers permit (https://www.co.kittitas.wa.us/health/services/food.aspx#foodpermit)

General Information:

Always check in at the building's main office to sign in on your day of assignment

Pay Period:

As a substitute, you will be paid one month after you have worked. (i.e. work completed in September will be paid via direct deposit to your account on the last working day of October) Time sheets due in the office by the 5th of each month. Building /
