Job Description

Job Summary Join our team as a Parking Lot Cleaner and play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for ensuring the parking area is tidy, well-maintained, and free of debris. Your efforts will contribute to the overall safety and appearance of the property, creating a positive experience for everyone who visits. This paid position offers an opportunity to work outdoors, stay active, and develop valuable skills in maintenance and landscaping. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning of parking lots, including sweeping, trash removal, and debris clearance using hand tools and power equipment Operate snow plowing equipment during winter months to ensure safe access during inclement weather Conduct minor landscaping tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming trees, and maintaining landscape beds with gardening tools and lawn care equipment Assist with irrigation system checks and repairs to keep landscaped areas healthy and vibrant Use excavators or other construction machinery for larger maintenance projects when necessary Maintain safety standards by inspecting the lot for hazards like potholes or uneven surfaces and reporting issues promptly Support seasonal tasks such as tree trimming, hardscape repairs, or general landscape maintenance to enhance the property's appearance Skills Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment Experience with lawn care, mowing, gardening, and landscape maintenance techniques Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and snow plowing machinery safely and effectively Knowledge of horticulture practices including tree care, pruning, and tree trimming Familiarity with irrigation systems and general construction or hardscape projects Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards in outdoor maintenance environments Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions while standing, walking, or lifting for extended periods This role is perfect for motivated individuals who enjoy working outdoors and take pride in creating clean and safe spaces.
