With potential future opportunities The Night Porter ensures guests receive excellent service during overnight hours while maintaining the security and cleanliness of the property. Duties include assisting guests, handling late check-ins and early check-outs, monitoring the premises, and supporting housekeeping or maintenance tasks as needed. Key Responsibilities Welcome and assist guests during night shifts Handle late arrivals and early departures Answer phone calls and respond to guest enquiries Monitor hotel security and conduct regular patrols Set up conference rooms or breakfast areas for the morning Carry out basic cleaning and housekeeping duties Respond to emergencies or guest issues promptly Process payments and maintain reception records Ensure all public areas remain tidy and safe Support other departments when required Required Skills & Qualifications Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently overnight Basic computer and administrative skills Calm and professional manner Awareness of health and safety procedures Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays Previous hospitality experience preferred but not always essential Typical Working Hours Usually overnight shifts (e.g., 11 PM - 7 AM) May include weekends and public holidays Company Description Join us at Hungry Horse, where the drinks are always flowing and the plates are piled high, our pubs bring families and friends together.
