Custodian/Janitor - Part Time We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitorial Worker to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. As a Janitorial Worker, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks with precision and efficiency, contributing to a positive and productive atmosphere. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and facility upkeep. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas. Conduct detailed floor care procedures such as buffing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain a pristine appearance. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and common areas in accordance with health and safety standards. Handle custodial tasks related to industrial cleaning or commercial cleaning projects as needed. Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting to support overall facility upkeep. Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a safe working environment. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently while adhering to company policies. Skills Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment. Strong understanding of floor care procedures including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet extraction. Ability to perform industrial or commercial cleaning tasks with attention to detail. Experience with facilities maintenance or general upkeep activities such as minor repairs or painting. Familiarity with porter responsibilities related to building cleanliness and supply management. Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
