Previous floor maintenance experience preferred (carpet cleaning) At least one year of housekeeping experience The Janitor/Porter is responsible for major floor care projects and trash Maintains floors and carpets within Community. Housekeeping duties as needed. Moderate to heavy physical effort 95% of the workday. walk long distances up to 8 hours per day. and/or pull wheeled carts and equipment weighing up to 100 lbs. over tiled and carpeted surfaces over long distances. confined spaces around furniture and breakable objects, and have constant contact with residents. influenza, HIV, and hepatitis. levels, and institutional cleaning chemicals.
