As a self-employed contractor, you will be responsible for cleaning gutters efficiently and safely, ensuring residential and commercial properties are protected from water damage. Candidates must have their own truck and ladders, demonstrating readiness to tackle various job sites with confidence. This position offers flexibility, independence, and the opportunity to grow your own business while providing essential cleaning services. Responsibilities Perform gutter cleaning on residential and commercial properties using ladders and other equipment Inspect gutters and downspouts for blockages, damage, or leaks, reporting issues as needed Remove debris such as leaves, twigs, and dirt from gutters to ensure proper water flow Use appropriate safety measures when working at heights, including harnesses or scissor lifts if available Maintain a clean work environment by disposing of debris responsibly after each job Communicate clearly with clients regarding work completed and any additional repairs required Manage scheduling efficiently to maximize daily productivity and customer satisfaction Experience Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial work, custodial tasks, or exterior property maintenance is preferred Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and techniques is advantageous Ability to operate ladders safely and confidently at various heights Experience with scissor lifts or other height access equipment is a plus Strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and quality service delivery This role is ideal for self-motivated individuals who enjoy outdoor work and take pride in providing excellent service.
