Job Description
Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deep Cleaner / Declutter Specialist / Dehoarding Expert to assist clients in transforming their living spaces by providing professional deep cleaning, organization, and dehoarding services. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a non-judgmental approach to helping individuals regain control of their homes.Responsibilities:
Perform deep cleaning services, including scrubbing, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing, and disinfecting. Assist clients in decluttering and organizing their spaces. Categorize, and properly dispose of unwanted items, ensuring proper recycling and donation practices. Handle sensitive and challenging hoarding situations with patience, respect, and professionalism. Follow safety protocols, including handling biohazards and waste disposal when necessary. Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality with clients. Work collaboratively with clients, family members, social workers, or other professionals if needed. Keep an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are properly maintained. Keep records of job and signed client paperwork.Requirements:
Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting, prolonged standing, and manual labor. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Compassionate, patient, and non-judgmental approach to working with clients. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Willingness to work in challenging or extreme conditions (e.g., heavily cluttered homes, pet odors, biohazards). A valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Pass a DSHS Background check.Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience as Deep Cleaner / Declutter Specialist / Dehoarding Expert Training or certification in professional organizing, hazardous waste handling, or trauma-informed care. First Aid/CPR certification (optional but beneficial)Note:
