  • North Co Commercial Cleaning is hiring a reliable cleaner for a recurring retail job at a store inside the Vancouver Mall. This is occasional work, not steady weekly hours, covering a commercial cleaning and a window washing visit at the same location, booked together.

Commercial Cleaning Pay:
75 dollars per visit
Frequency:
every 6 months Time on site: 1.5 to 2 hours. These are just the average times, but they vary store to store and with cleaning experience.

Window Washing Pay:
55 dollars per visit
Frequency:
every 6 months, synced with the cleaning Time on site: 1 to 1.5 hours for up to 10 windows; more windows mean more time. These are just the average times, but they vary store to store and with cleaning experience.
Scheduled service date:
Tuesday, June 30, 2026, 8:00 AM start Combined trip total: about 2.5 to 3.5 hours; $ 130 for the visit.
  • Payment
  • Each job is paid separately. Photos, check-in, and check-out must be completed. If they aren't done, it slows the whole process down quite a bit. When everything is done right, payment usually lands within 24 to 48 hours. The goal is same-day, which happens once the work is confirmed and the store manager is happy with the results.
  • What You'll Do
  • These are the general duties on average.
Some may be taken off, and others added, depending on the store.
Commercial Cleaning:
Sweep, dust mop, and vacuum all floors, including corners and edges. Mop hard floors. Remove gum and stickers. Dust shelving, fixtures, ledges, and vents. Wipe down counters and display cases. Empty trash and replace liners. Clean and disinfect the restroom if present. Damp mop office, stockroom, and break room floors.
Window Washing:
Clean and remove smudges from the entry door glass inside and out. Clean and polish handles, sills, and doorplates. Remove spider webs. Wipe down frames and ledges. Remove gum, debris, and tape. Squeegee and detail all glass edges and corners. Wipe ledges dry.

Commercial Cleaning:
Mop and bucket and/or a flat mop with extra pads, broom and dust pan, dust mop (optional), all-purpose cleaner, disinfectant, glass cleaner, microfiber cloths, dusting tool, and restroom cleaner.
Window Washing:
Professional window scrubber or applicator, squeegee, glass cleaning solution, microfiber or scrim cloths, a scraper or razor, and a bucket.
Supply Bonus:
Bring your own supplies for both jobs and earn 10 dollars total per visit. North Co can provide supplies instead, no bonus, totally fine either way.
  • Dress Code
  • Slip-resistant shoes are required; North Co will help you get a pair if needed. Clean, plain blue or black shirt until your branded shirt at 3 months. Gloves optional. Jeans or non-athletic shorts, nothing ripped, no sweatpants, nothing revealing. Jewelry kept to a minimum. Hat on or hair tied back. Arrive clean and presentable.
  • Requirements
  • Prior cleaning experience, commercial or residential, is fine, as long as you know how to clean.
Window washing experience with a scrubber and squeegee is required for the window job. Reliable personal transportation, if your vehicle breaks down often or you share it, you'll need a backup plan. Strong communication, checking in, responding, and keeping us updated. This is number one. Must be 21 or older. Comfortable completing a standard onboarding screening.

  • Be fast but keep the quality high. If you can't hit the service window solo, bring a helper, or North Co adds a second person.
