Job Description

JOB Clark College is currently accepting applications for a full-time, permanent classified Maintenance Custodian in the Facilities department. This position will be located primarily on Clark College's Boschma Farms site in Ridgefield, WA and be responsible for performing custodial work. The typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 4am to 12:30pm. This position may work occasional evening or weekend shifts. This position will report to the Custodial Services Manager.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine custodial and light maintenance duties to maintain a clean, safe, and functional campus environment.

Clean and sanitize classrooms, offices, restrooms, common areas, and entryways; sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and floor care; collecting and disposing of trash and recycling; and restocking custodial supplies.

Perform minor maintenance and repair tasks, including repairing plumbing, electrical, or structural components, replacing light bulbs, and reporting facility issues. Assist with basic repairs.

Building opening and closing procedures.

Monitor building conditions and report concerns. Support campus events with set up and reset. Operate and maintain custodial equipment.

Follow safety procedures and chemical handling guidelines.

Work collaboratively with facilities staff to support daily campus operations. Perform related duties as required.
