Environmental Services Worker

Environmental Services Worker Augusta Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable, compassionate Environmental Services Worker to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents. This position supports housekeeping and laundry operations throughout the facility and may occasionally assist with resident transportation when needed. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and other facility spaces Assist with laundry services, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distribution Follow infection control, safety, and cleanliness standards Maintain a welcoming environment for residents, families, and visitors Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned Support resident transportation needs on an occasional basis Work cooperatively with other departments to meet resident needs Qualifications Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work independently and as part of a team Positive attitude and respectful communication skills Valid Wisconsin Driver's License and acceptable driving record required Ability to safely assist with resident transportation when needed Preferred Experience Housekeeping, custodial, or laundry experience Healthcare, hospitality, or long-term care experience Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and pushing/pulling equipment Ability to perform routine cleaning and laundry tasks throughout the shift
