Sanitation Worker (Evening/Night Shift)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation Worker to join our team in Wisconsin. This role is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant environment within a food processing facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial cleaning and sanitation, with a strong focus on hygiene standards and safety protocols. Work Shifts:

The work shift is based on the tasks to be cleaned and the availability of areas after production finishes. 4pm start in some areas 8pm start in other areas

Work Days:

Generally Monday-Friday with some weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) Duties Perform thorough cleaning of production areas, equipment, and facilities using appropriate cleaning agents and methods Maintain high standards of sanitation in food production or manufacturing environments to ensure compliance with health regulations Operate cleaning equipment and tools efficiently for heavy-duty cleaning tasks. Follow detailed cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are sanitized regularly Assist with waste removal and disposal according to safety guidelines Conduct routine inspections to identify areas requiring additional cleaning or maintenance Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment during all cleaning activities Experience Prior janitorial, custodial, or industrial cleaning experience preferred, especially within food production, manufacturing, or warehouse settings Experience with commercial or heavy-duty cleaning equipment is advantageous Familiarity with sanitation standards specific to food processing or manufacturing environments is a plus Ability to perform some lifting and work efficiently in physically demanding situations Knowledge of safety procedures related to industrial cleaning and sanitation practices This role is essential for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency of our facilities.
