VA Clinic Experience Janitor - 25/HR Monday thru Friday 1-5 pm. Cleveland WI

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the VA facility in Cleveland, WI. The Ideal candidate ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency in both commercial and residential settings. The Janitor selected must be reliable with special dedication to attendance and cleaning efficiency. Also, be able to train a permanent fill in employee as needed. Pay is 25/HR Monday thru Friday. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to maintain polished surfaces. Ensure all restrooms are clean, stocked, and well-maintained. Handle waste disposal and recycling according to established procedures. Assist with residential painting projects as needed to enhance facility aesthetics. Maintain equipment and cleaning supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Skills Proven experience in custodial work or facilities maintenance is preferred. Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and industrial cleaning standards. Familiarity with floor care equipment and procedures, including buffing machines. Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment consistently. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality standards in cleaning tasks. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
