Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas using commercial cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and vacuums Handle chemical agents safely for cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, following all safety protocols Conduct custodial tasks including trash removal, dusting, window washing, and surface sanitization to uphold high cleanliness standards Engage in manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of supplies, furniture, or equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices Maintain facilities by performing minor repairs or reporting maintenance issues promptly to ensure operational efficiency Utilize industrial cleaning tools for specialized tasks such as buffing floors or deep cleaning carpets and surfaces Support additional maintenance duties like painting or light repairs as needed to keep the facility in top condition Skills Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial and industrial cleaning procedures Skilled in handling chemical agents safely with proper use of protective gear and understanding of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) Ability to operate floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and other custodial equipment efficiently Strong manual handling skills with experience in heavy lifting and safe lifting practices to prevent injury Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting, or troubleshooting basic issues Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and work effectively within a team environment Embark on a rewarding career where your efforts directly contribute to safe, clean, and welcoming spaces.
