Project Worker $300 Hiring Bonus - Full-Time Project Worker / General Cleaner We are seeking a dependable Full-Time Project Worker / General Cleaner to perform cleaning and maintenance services in office buildings throughout the Madison area. Work locations may vary based on business needs.

Valid Wisconsin Driver's License required Previous floor care and commercial cleaning experience preferred Position Summary This is a dual-role position that combines Project Floor Care and General Cleaning responsibilities. Project Workers perform specialized floor maintenance and restoration services, including floor stripping, waxing, buffing, carpet extraction, and other deep-cleaning projects. These services are typically completed on an as-needed basis for large-scale cleaning and restoration projects rather than routine daily cleaning. General Cleaners are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of assigned facilities through a variety of daily cleaning tasks. The position may require moving furniture and equipment while following all safety procedures to prevent injury. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Project Floor Care Duties Perform specialized floor care services, including stripping, waxing, buffing, scrubbing, and carpet extraction. Operate industrial floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, and extractors safely and effectively. Complete project work, including local delivery of cleaning supplies and materials. Perform post-construction cleanups, flood restoration, carpet maintenance, power washing, and other specialty cleaning services. Inspect, assemble, and prepare new equipment and supplies for use. Learn and implement new cleaning methods, products, and equipment under management guidance. Provide excellent customer service to clients and coworkers. Maintain reliable attendance, work overtime when necessary, and travel between job sites as required. Maintain a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record. Successfully pass customer-required background checks and pre-employment drug screening. General Cleaning Duties Dust and clean desks, cabinets, partitions, picture frames, and other surfaces. Empty trash and recycling containers and transport waste to designated disposal areas. Sweep, damp mop, wet mop, and vacuum floors using appropriate equipment, including upright and backpack vacuums. Clean interior glass and window surfaces. Sanitize and disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, and restroom fixtures. Restock restroom supplies as needed. Clean and polish metal fixtures, hardware, and fittings throughout the facility. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, carry, push, and pull throughout the workday. Ability to safely move furniture, equipment, and cleaning materials as required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
