Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Part-time School Custodian to join our team in Minocqua. This energetic role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming school environment while working Monday through Friday. Location :
Minocqua, WI Schedule :
M-F Summer hours : 1-5pm
Sept-May:
3:30-7:30pm Responsibilities Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to ensure a spotless school environment Help to maintain floors through buffing, stripping, and waxing Clean and sanitize restrooms, classrooms, hallways, and common areas following established protocols Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as window cleaning and surface disinfecting to promote health and safety Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to company standards and safety guidelines Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to ensure swift resolution Skills Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services with knowledge of commercial cleaning practices a plus Willingness to learn buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing surfaces Ability to learn and operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Capable of performing physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Join us in creating clean, safe spaces that make a difference! Pay:
$18.00 per hour
Benefits:
