Job Description

New Holstein School District is seeking a team-oriented individual who enjoys working with students and adults.
Essential Job Functions:
Clean all areas of the school. Maintain building safety and security (e.g. lock/unlock doors, turn security lights/on/off, etc.) Perform minor maintenance projects (e.g. painting, changing light bulbs and ceiling tiles, basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, lawn equipment maintenance and tile cleaning, etc.) Take care of snow removal before school and some weekends as needed. Assist with loading and unloading trucks. Inventory supplies and equipment. Comply with safety rules and regulations. Check building on weekends when assigned. Assist in maintaining appropriate student behavior on school grounds and at school activities. Deliver or pick up materials. Occasional orientation of substitute staff. Preventative Maintenance. Assume other duties as assigned within the scope of the position.
Requirements:
Previous experience in performing routine cleaning work is preferred. Knowledge of the methods, practices, tools, and materials used in general maintenance and repair work is preferred. Must have the ability to accept direction from supervisors, the ability to follow work rules, procedures, policy and regulations, the ability to accept constructive criticism, the ability to be a good communicator, and the ability to be organized and manage time effectively. Hourly compensation pending experience and qualifications.

$19.50 - $25.00 per hour
