Duties Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and techniques. Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures to ensure clarity and shine. Conduct routine trash removal, recycling collection, and waste disposal in accordance with safety guidelines. Use floor care equipment such as buffers and polishers to maintain high-quality flooring appearance. Assist with light maintenance tasks including minor repairs or reporting larger issues to facilities management. Follow safety procedures during cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Support industrial or commercial cleaning projects as needed, including deep cleaning or specialized custodial tasks. Skills Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles with a focus on commercial or residential environments. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, and sealing floors. Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums, buffers, and carpet cleaners efficiently. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices and basic repair skills. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards. Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts. Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues promptly.
