Full Job Description Join Our Facilities Team! We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff, students, and visitors. This position focuses on floor care and general custodial duties throughout a professional facility. If you take pride in your work, enjoy working independently, and have experience with cleaning equipment and floor maintenance, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Clean and maintain tiled, carpeted, and concrete floors Operate floor scrubbers, riding sweepers, buffers, carpet extractors, and vacuum cleaners Strip, refinish, and maintain floor surfaces Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, fixtures, walls, and floors Wash walls, windows, and ceilings as needed Empty trash and recycling containers Restock restroom supplies and cleaning materials Change light bulbs and perform basic facility support tasks Set up and move furniture and equipment for special events Maintain and clean custodial equipment Perform building security duties, including locking and unlocking doors Assist during emergencies and severe weather situations Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions Qualifications Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred Experience operating floor care equipment is a plus Ability to work independently and efficiently Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Ability to lift, move equipment, climb step ladders, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift Why Apply? $17.25 per hour Early morning schedule (4:00 AM - 8:00 AM) Consistent part-time hours Supportive team environment Opportunity to make a positive impact Training provided on equipment and procedures Additional Duties May Include Training new employees and team members Shoveling snow near assigned entrances Covering shifts for absent team members Driving company vehicles locally for supply and equipment pickup Apply Today!
