Custodian II

Duties:

• Perform a variety of custodial tasks to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned areas
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and windowsills
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
• Perform buffing and waxing of floors as needed
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment when necessary
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as directed
• Follow established safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as required

Skills:

• Proven experience in custodial or janitorial work
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize work effectively
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required Please note that this is a general outline of the duties and skills expected for the role of Senior Custodian.
