Experienced Custodian (full-time)

ST. ANNE CATHOLIC PARISH

Full-Time Custodian Overview:

The Full-Time Custodian provides for the cleaning and general maintenance of parish buildings and grounds, and reports to the Maintenance Director.

Hours:

2 p.m.- 10 p.m. Monday-Friday, some weekends.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in maintaining the parish buildings and grounds, including snow shoveling. 2. Tend primarily to the church and school sections of the building, including clean church, classrooms, hallways, restrooms, drinking fountains, school offices, halls, entrances, etc., on a daily basis. 3. Provide set-up and cleaning of facilities for day, evening and weekend activities as requested. 4. Assist other custodians and Maintenance Director as needed with set-up, take-downs, opening/locking of the building.

Necessary Capabilities:

1. Work with other staff and parish volunteers in a pleasant and cooperative manner. 2. Be a responsible, friendly and responsible presence around children. 3. Perform responsibilities with minimum supervision and be self-motivated. 5. Possess general knowledge of janitorial supplies and use. 6. Must be able to lift 75 pounds. 7. Ability to operate power equipment such as sweepers, floor scrubbers and other equipment. Term of Employment This is a full-time, non-exempt position, 40 hours per week. Wage and Benefits as established by the Diocese and determined by the Pastor and Maintenance Director in consultation with the Finance Council.
